THE CONCEPT

​​This project is a cinematic vehicle animation set in a nighttime atmosphere. It aims to combine speed, aesthetics, and a sense of atmosphere through city lights, dynamic camera angles, and detailed vehicle movements. Using a vehicle rigging system, lighting, scene setup, and final rendering processes, a visually powerful and impressive short film has been created.

LOOK DEVELOPMENT

The technical foundation relies on a meticulous scene assembly and look development process. The material responses of the integrated vehicle model were specifically optimized in Substance Painter and Blender to evoke a realistic feel under night lighting. By utilizing volumetric lighting techniques, the diffusion of streetlights and headlights in the night air was simulated, enhancing the depth perception and cinematic intensity of the scene.

CINEMATOGRAPHY

During the direction and cinematography phases, dynamic and fluid camera movements were designed to emphasize the aggressive aerodynamics of the GT-R. The visual flow was edited to synchronize perfectly with the rhythm of the background music, aiming to create a continuous sense of motion for the viewer.

POST-PRODUCTION

Premiere Pro and After Effects were utilized in the final compositing process. Through color grading, optical glares, and atmospheric fine-tuning, the raw 3D renders achieved a distinctive visual style. This project is an independent CGI short film where art direction, lighting, editing, and visual effects seamlessly merge around a single aesthetic vision.
